Hawk Mesh Radio

900 MHz Device-to-Device Communication

A mesh radio network is a device-to-device communication system. The Hawk Mesh Radio, used at any point in the network, establishes links to transmit information from multiple points back to a central location. It is well suited for areas where each unit does not have a clear line of sight to a central point.

Hawk Mesh Radio Features:

  • 2 power modes
  • Low power (1/2-mile)
  • High power (30 miles)

External Inputs

  • 5 inputs – 1 status input and 4 selectable inputs choosing from:Analog (i.e. temperature)
  • Status (i.e. well running, well fault)
  • 4-20mA (i.e. pressure & flow meters)
  • 1 built-in relay driver
  • 2 external relay modules can be attached to allow as many as 8 relay outputs

Internal Monitoring

  • Radio temperature
  • RSSI (Receive level)
  • Power supply voltage
  • Protocol
  • R5485 Modbus RTU (addressable)

Input Voltage

  • 8 to 32 VDC

Input Power Consumption

  • High Power – 7 Watts
  • Low Power – 3 Watts

Mount

  • Standard DIN rail mount
